There's a place called the Musician, Clyde Street, Leicester which host different music every night and they even have an open mic one evening. Tonight they have a band called the bittersweets and tomorrow a Bob Dylan night ,so they certainly have a large and varied range of music none that would match up to your class, although saying that we have seen some great music played there.Val

Chris Leicestershire would welcome you with open arms. The Musician, Clyde St.,Leicester puts on a wide choice of live music every night and has an open mic night once a week. We have seen some good performers there and it is usually packed. Although it depends what size of gig you'd want to put on as there are lots of clubs that put on live music most nights.

Hi Mrs H, we're in Notts, not very far from you. We have been trying to get the organisers at Southwell Folk Festival (June 5-7) to invite Chris. Maybe another e-mail from a different person might do the trick:

Hi there, thanx for doing that, I sent them Bideford folk festival brochure with lots of info in September and never had reply, so I e-mailed them, the letter had probably got lost in the post, but I still never had a reply, neither has Bryony. I just keep checking the website to see what new artists they're putting on. Can only hope for the best. Hope to see you there. Helga
